Elixir Lacquers Elixiversary and Roller Derby Ruckus!

I've already reviewed a couple Elixir Lacquers in the past and really loved them so when my girl Nicole from Nail Polish Wars told me she was releasing a new collection, I was really excited!

Today I have swatches of her exclusive anniversary polish Elixiversary and 2 colors from the Roller Derby Ruckus!

Elixiversary is a very well balanced mix of matte, satin, holographic, and iridescent glitters in lots of different shapes : diamonds, squares, hexes, and rounds! The spectrum of color is soft and delicate, mostly pastel but also brighter colors such as turquoise or fuchsia. This is one coat over Cirque Vaudeville plus topcoat.

Shamrock Shakedown is a mix of different sizes of gold and green hex glitters as well as and sparse blues combined with holo pieces. Super sparkly and perfect for the green lovers! This is one coat over a-england Dragon.

Double D-Struction is a very original blend of copper, brown and teal glitters in a clear base. I've discovered a lot of beautiful browns lately so I decided to pair it with Catrice Urban Outsider (Upper WILDside LE) and I LOVED it!

Formula on all of these was easy to work with and delivered good glitter payoff. Of course, I had to fish some of the larger pieces but they applied nicely. The clear bases makes them perfect for layering and creating your own pairing!

Elixir Lacquers (B3 Free) can be purchased directly on elixirlacquers.com and retail for $10 each.

Elixiversary will be very limited with only 75 bottles. Release is scheduled for :
1:00pm EST on January 16th, February 16th, and March 16th (25 bottles available each).

The Roller Derby Ruckus collection will be available starting February 1st.

Elixir Lacquers Lov-a-Bully Collection Happy Tears and Blue Coat

I've been following Nicole from Nail Polish Wars for quite some time now so I was really happy for her when she strated her own nail polish brand Elixir Lacquers.
Today I have Happy Tears and Blue Coat from her Lov-a-Bully collection to share with you!

Happy Tears is a sheer royal blue base with blue shimmer, small blue square and medium white hex glitters. Formula was really good, I just had to "fish" for the white hex glitters a little bit but it's a very small price to pay for such beauty! I applied one coat over one coat of Kiko 294 plus topcoat.

Blue Coat is dark navy blue with a slight purple hint with very tiny silver holographic glitter. The glitter is really small and the holo is very subtle but that's exactly what makes it so gorgeous! It's classy and absolutely amazing!!! I used 2 coats plus topcoat and they applied like a dream.

Overall :
Both of these are gorgeous and completely unique in my stash. They're different from what you would normally expect from an indie brand and sometimes simplicity can definitely be a plus!

The Lov-a-Bully collection consists of 7 polishes and was inspired by Bully breed dogs. 10% of each bottle sold will be donated to the Atlanta Bully Rescue, an organization that works tirelessly to reduce the number of unwanted bully breeds in Atlanta and surrounding areas.

Elixir Lacquers can be purchased directly from the brand's online store and retail for $10 each (15ml / 0.5floz). Elixirs Lacquers products are all Big 3 Free.
