China Glaze: Tantalize Me + Konad M82

Tantalize meeee!! Thats exactly what this polish does!!!!
LOL! Mentally okay!

Back In December I had Won Peaches and Blush giveaway sponsored by Stylecraze.com
Although I had won a blush and 3 orlys..most of the orlys I wanted were sold out. So Chetana (owner at Stylecraze) generously agreed to swap them for China Glaze which she had ordered to come.
China Glaze was not available in India then and Chetana tried her best to get them to India.
But..everything that could go wrong went wrong with her shipment..and she finally managed to get them in May! Promptly she sent me the list of shades available and me and my twitterati gal friends spent a whole day narrowing them down to three! Whew!! That was a hard job I tell u!! How can one choose 3 from all the fantabulous shades of China Glaze????
These are the three we finally selected and were promptly shipped to me. Thanks Chetana!!

First up is Tantalize Me!! It is one of the sweetest shades of pink-purple with a blue-ey pearl finish.
The bottle looked like it was duo-chrome..but doesnt show much on nails.
Opaque in 2 coats, slightly streaky..but really slightly. Lasted a good 5 days on me.

Base : China Glaze Tantalize Me
Stamping Plate:Konad M82
Stamping Polish: Konad Black

Aren't you Tantalized already??

Holiday Nails

Using the pix of the water from my past trip to St. Lucia for inspiration for this mani as mentioned in my last post, I did a water themed mani.  This is what I came up with.

Base polishes used where Butter London Slapper; two coats.

Topped with a coat of Zoya Maisie.

Stamped using H20 and (thumb and pinky), SdP 17 (ring), and Big SdP J (middle and index) using Konad special blue polish on all fingers except the index.

I was disappointed how faint the Konad blue stamped so decided to see if I could come up with something a little darker.  For the index finger, I dabbed in a little Konad Royal Purple special polish with the blue and mixed them up on the plate a bit to get a slightly darker outline.

Layered on more stamping using Konad M82 (fish on thumb and pinky), and H20 (turtle) using Konad Yellow special polish.  (Before Fingers comments on the post...I know fish and turtles aren't yellow! lol!)

Added the boat from H20 on the ring finger, using Konad white for the outline of the boat and Konad Yellow for the sun.

I did a white boat because I went out into the ocean on a white catamaran when I was in St. Lucia...the small one you see in the pix below to the far left was the one I went out on.  This was a pix I snapped when he was coming onto the beach and before we went out on the water.....the pix from my last post of the water was taken when I was out on it. We did some snorkeling off of it to see turtles and fish...unfortunately, I don't have a waterproof camera so no pix.  The catamaran ride was actually one of the highlights of my trip...I love the water and love being out on it!

Have a great weekend...and thanks for looking!

Star sprinkle!

Base coat: ColorBar Exclusive 018
Stamp Plate: Konad M82
Stamping Polish: Konad special polish white
Dark Blue rim: Colorama Marinho

Loved this base colour, more like teal.
Here in India, we dont have many options in terms of choice of brands.
The common ones are: lakme, L'oreal, Colorama (introduced recently), revlon, maybelline are some of the more common ones. Others like OPI and China glaze though available at salons are quite expensive at around $10. Havent seen Zoya, nubar, sally hansen and the others in our market yet. Also konad plates and stamps are not easily available. My mom got me mine from a trip to US.
Have ordered for a set of Bundle monster new plates which should arrive soon (fingers crossed).
Until then goodbye and tc.

Comments on my blog/nail art are most welcome.
