I can't imagine any nail polish lover being unaware of this year's matte textured trend.
Every major brand (and smaller ones too!) has released their take on them, from Zoya Pixie Dusts to China Glaze Textures or OPI Liquid Sands... Come to think of it, I haven't seen Essie jump on the bandwagon.. Oh well, they did join the party kind of late on magnetics and completely skipped the crackles, not that anyone would complain about that LOL
Anyway, today I have the Nicole by OPI Gumdrops collection to share with you, all matte glittery textures.
Formula was consistent on all of these, on the sheer side but completely even. I used two thin coats and no topcoat on all of my swatches below.
Candy is Dandy
bubblegum pink glitter with various sizes of holo pieces
I Lilac Gumdrops
lavender shimmer with flat silver glitter flecks
My Cherry Amour
cherry pink jelly packed with holographic micro glitter
Cinna-man of My Dreams
heavy mix of pink and brown micro glitters in a sheer pink tinted base
Blue-Berry Sweet on You
heavy mix of periwinkle (and sparse pink +green) micro glitters in a sheer blue tinted base
A-Nise Treat
small silver glitters in a black base
Overall :
I really like the finish on this collection, there are several types of matte textures and the glitter one is definitely my fave.
My picks : A-Nise Treat, Blue-Berry Sweet on You and My Cherry Amour but that's just personal preference, I'm sure you won't be disappointed in the other ones either.
Did you grab any of these?
I still have the OPI Bond Girls collection to share very soon but let me know in the comments if you'd be interested in a texture recap/comparison post as well ;-)
