Hi girls, today I have the OPI Bond Girls collex to share with you, another release surfing on with this year's latest trend, the matte Textures. I can't seem to get enough of them!
Application was very easy and consistent on the entire collection. They flowed effortlessly on the nails, with an almost-one-coat coverage. I used two on each for macro purposes except for Tiffany Case which was only required one.
The main difference between these and all of the other matte textures I've tried is the finish though. While Jinx, Tiffany Case and Vesper proved to have the usual dense glitters or glitter in jelly base formula BUT the other three seemed like shimmer/glitter hybrids.
And now, the swatches!
Solitaire
white shimmer with silver glitter
Pussy Galore
pastel pink with gold shimmer and pink glitter
Honey Ryder
cool toned gold shimmer with gold glitter
Jinx
bright coral red base with gold glitter
Tiffany Case
heavy mix of fine blue and medium silver glitter in sheer blue tinted base
Vesper
purple eggplant base with black glitter
Overall :
I must say I have mixed feelings about this collection. While Jinx is an absolute favorite, I also really love Tiffany Case. I had high hopes about Vesper but once on my nails, IDK... I never thought a day would happen when I'd write this on my blog but *whispers* I think it might be too dark. Pretty much how I felt about Lincoln Park After Dark when I first tried it. I'll definitely have to wear it again, just to be sure.
As for the other three : Solitaire, Pussy Galore and Honey Ryder, they're good products and offer great quality but the shimmery/glittery look just isn't my thing, I think.
So... What do YOU think about them? Have you tried any yet?
