Digit-al Dozen; Tape Mani's, Day 4

Another tape mani for the Digit-al Dozen challenge.

Started with a base of two coats of China Glaze I'm not Lion; topped with SV.

I took a few pix of how the mani was done.  Sectioned off half the nail with tape.  There's so many fingerprints on the tape as I read that if the tape isn't super sticky when you place it on the base, then it's less likely to pull the base off when pulling the tape off.  As I only waited about 15 minutes for the base to dry before taping off, I didn't want this to happen!

After picking an image, stamped as normal over the nail. I used HD-B and black Konad special polish.

Immediately remove the tape after stamping.

This is the finished look once all nails are done including cleanup. In retrospect, I should have used an image that was a little more clustered together in the stamped area to make the polished-only area pop!

Decided to stamp the other half of the nail; used black Konad special polish with plate HB-49 for the cat on the middle nail and Chez Animaux 01 for the paws on the rest.  Topped with SV to finish.

I'm still using Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter-A-Peel for easy glitter removal.....makes glitter removal a breeze!

Here's the other Digital Dozen Tape Mani's!

Hope you're having a great week; thanks for looking!

Holo Hoppers

Here's another Easter mani; unfortunately, I'm a little later posting that I planned as I was too busy with life to get round to posting it any earlier.  This time, I was trying to come up with something a little different rather than the traditional colour schemes of Easter and decided to do a holo Easter mani.

 photo easter4_zps16ee0ce0.jpg

Started with a base of two coats each of FingerPaints Black Expressionism and Color Club Harp On It; the black has been topped with SV but the holo was not.  (It seems I deleted the uploaded pix inadvertently because blogger was acting all funky and I've already deleted the original from the camera source but I'm sure you get the jest of how it looked!)

Stamped with Konad black special polish and CC Harp On It using fauxnad AT02 (pinky and partial egg on thumb), HD-B (middle, ring and index finger), W105 (zigzag egg on thumb) and Nailways 06 (small bunnies on thumb).

Added a few dots using the same polishes.

Topped with Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Fast Dry topcoat.  The holo stamping and dots really popped with the topcoat!

The next day, I took a pix outside in overcast skies; you can see the stamping better without all the holo glare.

More pix because I just can't pick one!

Let The Easter Mani's Begin!!!

Easter snuck up on me; it seems we just got over St. Patrick's Day mani's and for some reason, I thought I had a few weeks to get a few Easter mani's ready to post; I guess it's a little earlier than normal, which is why I thought I had more time.  Anyhooo, here's the first Easter mani I'm sharing.

Started with a base of two coats of Lime Crime Milky Ways; this is two coats then topped with SV.  I was going for a colour to mimic the colour of egg shells, more off white, but this polish is a little more tinted than I was expecting.

Stamped using HD-A (thumb, middle and all the eggs) and HD-B (pinky) using Beautiful Scratchers green stamping polish and Konad special polishes in pastel yellow, pastel blue, pastel lilac and pastel pink.

Added a few random dots using the same colours.

Topped with SV.

A pix in natural daylight (overcast).

I might as well name this weeks posts Easter Week...as I'm sure that's all I'll be featuring for the next little while being the holiday kind of gal I am!

Thanks for looking!

Leprechaun's Among Us!

Another St. Patrick's Day mani!

Started with a base of two coats of Cirque Lonesome George; this is two coats, no tc.

Stamped using Konad white special polish using Lilic's A02 (thumb), MM04 (ring and middle finger images) and HD-B (pinky and index).

Added a shamrock under the leprechaun on the index from HD-B, then random dots using Jessica Lime Cooler and CND Gold Chrome.

Topped with SV.  Then, I had the strange SV reaction occur with the white again...this was taken right after topcoating.....just starting to turn green....

....and then more noticeable here...mint green stamping!

Hope you're having a great weekend...thanks for looking!

Dot, Dot, Dot!

This weeks FB Adventures in Stamping challenge was ...dot, dot, dot!.....to add dots to your stamped mani....this is what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of L'Oreal Greycian Goddess, topped with SV, then stamped with Konad black special polish using HD-B. (I didn't take pix of Greycian Goddess on its own because I know I've worn it before...but seems I haven't posted those pix yet...oops!  But you can see pretty much how it looks under the stamping...sorry!)

Filled in the hearts with Jade Holgrafico Magia Negra.

Picture overload on this simply because I can never pick just one pix and think the holo is soooo coooool filled in the hearts!

One more for good measure!

Added a few random dots using CND Raspberry Parfait.

More picture overload!

I really was impressed that the holo in Jade Holgrafico Magia Negra showed up so well considering that the filled in area is so small.

Topped with SV.

HD-B is available via Bunny Nails ecrater store here....there are lots of holiday images on these plates which are perfect for a holiday/theme mani kinda gal like me! Speaking of which, St. Patrick's Day is around the corner and I'll be posting St. Paddy's mani's soon!

I hope you had a great weekend....thanks for looking!
