I did this mani last night as I'm continuing with blue mani's for Autism Awareness for the month of April now that the Digit-al Dozen mani's are finished. I thought I'd share it today because it's somewhat similar to the mani I had posted announcing the giveaway...and today's post will have the winner announced so I thought they were kind of connected...maybe....sort of...!
Before going any further, a huge THANK YOU to Shirley at Dashica Beauty Shop for sponsoring this giveaway! I didn't know this at the announcement of the giveaway as I fully intended to add them to my order as I mentioned in the post. I had sent her an email asking how much it would be to add three Dash plates to my order, explaining that I didn't know what three would be added as they were for a giveaway on my blog, and that I would let her know which three plates to add once a winner was chosen. She responded back saying that there would be no charge; that they would be sent along with the order for free!!! That was so nice; thanks so much again, Shirley!

For this under the sea mani, started with a base of two coats of Sephora by OPI Natural Environ-mint; this has no topcoat as I knew I would be adding a glitter on top. I had picked this up at Winners recently as they have been carrying random Sephora by OPI's for the last couple months. Not bad pricing too at $5.99. Edited to add that this polish is a stainer! Took it off the the evening of April 16, 2013 and had significant staining. Too bad; such a lovely colour.
Added a coat of Girly Bits Wet Bikini. No topcoat.
Stamping using SdP 70 with white Konad special polish.
Extended some of the reeds with polish using a brush before topping with SV. This would be a perfect mani for holidaying in the Caribbean...to me anyways!
Now onto the giveaway; there were 19 qualified entries and the winner as chosen by random.org is......
Zachy!!
Congrats Zachy; an email has been sent and a response is needed in 48 hours or another entry will be chosen!!!
Update: Zachy has gotten back to me and an email has been sent to Dashica with her choice of 3 Dash plates! Update: Zachy emailed me on June 14th to indicate her plates arrived!!
Thanks for looking!
Edit: I was just browsing Girly Bits store to see if Wet Bikini is still available and noticed it's currently on sale and thought I'd share!
