Clarins 230: the Ultimate nail polish

On the quest for the holy grail of nail polishes, Clarins 230 is certainly the most coveted of all time. Often refered to as unicorn pee because of the extremely precious yet rare and discontinued pigment that enters its composition, it is, at least to me, the most "chameleon-esque" nail polish of all time.

Clarins 230 is composed of a seemingly purple sheer base color and an abundance of shimmer particles, both color changing.
Its complexity resides in the fact that depending on the angle the lighting hits it, you will see it come to life before your own eyes : a base color burgundy in the center and blue on the edges and shimmer particles metamorphosing from toxic grass green to yellow, orange and red.

Now I must warn you : this post will be picture heavy and I'll refuse to accept any responsibility in future lemmings it might create... LOL

All the nail swatches, except for the first one, are taken with basecoat, 2 coats of OPI Diva of Geneva, 2 coats of Clarins 230, no topcoat.

So what do you think?
Is it worth all the drama?
Or is it too wiered for you?
