Speciallità Hits Fox Trot from the Mundo de Danças collection Swatches & Review

What about something a little special today?
Special can mean a lot when it comes to nail polish : hard to acquire, beautiful, precious, beloved or with a sentimental value for example.

Fox Trot means all those things to me and more.

I found Fox Tropt to have a great formula, easy application and perfectly sized flakies. The only regret I have is that it's not very opaque. I tried to wear it on its own but after 3 coats and obvious visible nail line, I decided it'd be better layered. The previous swatches show two coats of Fox Trot over Asos Paint by Ciaté Megan, which is a slightly more blue based purple.
I really love this combination though and I don't think I've ever seen such a gorgeous flakie in this color range : the orange to green particles shine through the base so beautifully!

Here it is on its own, 3 coats over basecoat to give you a better idea of opacity, not so bad if you wear your nails short.

I will soon be posting some more Brazilian beauties, thanks to a lovely friend from a lovely country.
Do you prefer entire collection reviews or does individual nail polish posts like this one (and a collex recap in the end) make them feel more "special" to you? ;-)
