China Glaze On Safari Collection Swatches & Review Part I : Native

This Fall China Glaze is releasing a Safari inspired collection : deep, earthly and greyed out shades along with 2 glitters.

Today I have for you the first set, Native, that includes :
Man Hunt, Exotic Encounters, Elephant Walk, Jungle Queen, Purr-fect Plum and Prey Tell.

Man Hunt : vivid dark blue creme with hints of purple depending on the lighting. Perfect coverage in two easy coats.

Exotic Encounters : dusty light teal green. Great formula and two coats coverage. Probably my favorite color from the entire collection.

Elephant Walk : medium grey with fine silver shimmer and green undertones. Great opacity but formula was a bit on the thick side. Two coats here.

Jungle Queen : dusty purple with a fine bright purple shimmer. Very similar to Chanel Paradoxal. Again, perfect formula and two coats coverage.

Purr-fect : dark plum creme. Rich and beautiful but somewhat these shades fall flat on me. Great formula though, this is two coats.

Prey Tell : very dark blood red creme with maroon hints. As vampy as vampy could get. 2 coats coverage and nice formula but make sure to wait a good couple of minutes between coats to avoid patchiness.

Overall :
I'm really loving Man Hunt, Exotic Encounters, Elephant Walk and Jungle Queen even though they aren't the most unique colors. I love Fall collections!

Stay tuned for the second part of the collection : Tourist.
