Cirque Objet d'Art Collection Review

I think I've made it pretty clear how much I love Cirque in the past.
Everything about it appeals to me. The bottles and their flawless design, the shades and their sophisticated blends, everything...

Today I am super excited to share with you the latest Cirque collection, including 11 new colors : Objet d'Art!

Lapis is a  very thin mix of blue glitter in a clear base. There are several shades and sizes of blue and I can also see very small and sparse purple particles, all contributing in a beautiful, sparkly, sapphire hue. Formula was a pleasure to work with, even, non gritty and ultra fast drying, I used 3 coats plus topcoat here for complete coverage but I'm sure it would also look beautiful layered.

Planet Caravan is a flickering color changing purple shimmer in a black base. On the nails it's very dark and vampy, typically the type of shades I love! Formula was also dreamy, even and on the sheer side on the first coat, it reached full opacity on the second. I used 2 coats plus topcoat in these swatches.

Book of Shadows is a very sparkly metallic silver lavender foil. Formula was nice, even and brushstroke free, requiring 3 fast drying coats for complete coverage. I didn't use topcoat here as it wouldn't have added any shine but you can see it's really luminous on its own.

XX (twenty) is the ULTIMATE holographic glitter topcoat with 20 different types of rainbow pastel glitters of the boldest, most sparkly kind ever! I don't think I could express how gorgeously, amazingly, mind blowing this is. You'd have to see it with your own eyes to believe it! Being pack loaded with glitter, it's a little thicker than the other polishes in this collection so I found best to simply take a good drop of polish and dab it on the nails. This is one coat of XX over black plus topcoat.

Cape Liz is a soft blue based grey with a beautiful blue, silver and purple flecked shimmer. The shimmer is a bit shy on the nails but still adds a delicate glimmer to the gorgeous base. Application was surprisingly easy and I used two coats plus topcoat in these swatches.

Galinda is a delicate white glitter topcoat with different sizes of pearl particles as well as very small holographic sprinkles. Of course it makes a perfect layering polish! I used one coat of Galinda over Lapis for these swatches but don't be surprised if you see more of it in the future ;-)

Lonesome George is a DREAMY forest green smooth linear holo. Do I need to say more? Yeah, I didn't think so... Two coats of perfect, non-streaky, holoness with regular basecoat/topcoat here.

Hellebore is an ultra sparkly mix of thin spring green glitter as well as tiny sparse pink particles in a clear base. Fomula was very similar to Lapis with various sizes of glitters, a dense blend and a perfect, non-gritty, 3 coats coverage.

Curiosity is a perfect Holiday red packed with glorious gold shimmer flecks, instant love upon application! It literally applied itself, reaching complete coverage and a deep, dazzling shade in 2 coats.

Cypress is a rich metallic copper with a strong linear holo effect. I wasn't sure about the metallic copper part at first but I couldn't be more wrong! The biggest surprise for me in the collection and probably my biggest crush too. The linear holo is strong but delicate at the same time and Cypress applied perfectly in two coats without any patchiness or special basecoat. This is 2 coats plus topcoat.

Au is a 23K real gold topper. This gold pieces are dense and really nicely proportioned in the clear base, requiring a single coat for a captivating precious effect. I decided to pair it with French Roast from the Dark Horse Collection and I absolutely love them together!

Overall :
I think these polishes pretty much speak for themselves but if you really want my point of view here it is : if you like them, don't hesitate! You'll love them even more in real life and definitely won't be disappointed by their quality! I know I was all ooohs and aaahs when I saw them and then again when I swatched them. I usually post swatch sneak peeks on Instagram and Twitter when I really love a polish and believe me I had the hardest time refraining from posting them all then!
