Today I have two recent manis I wore using Sayuri Nail Lacquers. Sayuri is another Aussie indie brand, but it's only new and currently only ships to Australia.
These two polishes are from the Sayuri Streets of Tokyo Collection, which is inspired by Japanese street fashion. I don't have the foggiest idea about Japanese street fashion, but the Sayuri website shows pictures, so I can certainly see the inspiration.
Mizurio is a glitter topper that contains periwinkle, navy, gunmetal grey, and silver hexes of varying sizes in a clear base.The perfect undie colour arrived in the mail the same day that I received my Sayuri nail polishes. China Glaze - Strap on your Moonboots. Putting Mizuiro on top of the China Glaze polish meant that all the holo effect was hidden, but the base colour was just the perfect shade match.
Oshare, influenced by the fun, bright clothing of the Oshare style is another glitter top coat that contains tiny yellow glitters, large yellow flowers, and turquoise and fuchsia dots in a clear base.
I decided to create an three toned gradient using the three colours in this polish. I used Zoya Alegra as the bright magenta - my photos make it look very red, when in fact its much pinker. The golden colour is China Glaze GR8 and the turquoise is Layla Ceramic Effect #62.
Both polihses applied very easily and I didn't have to fish out glitters. Both were two coats of the glitter topper with two coats of Seche Vite on top.
