This is my first foray into the world of indie (home-made) polishes. I bought this from Sandra @ Candy Lacquer a little while ago and it arrived today. Go look at her shop, she has some lovely things for sale!

This is called Modern Love. Inside Modern Love there's a mix of black and white shapes (bars, hearts, squares and diamonds of varying sizes) all in a clear base. I applied some over Barry M Shocking Pink.

The shapes were a little difficult to pick up, but as you can see I managed (fishing out the hearts was also a bit hard, but that actually became a fun game) and as, I'd imagine, with all polishes of this type, there's a bit of placement involved.
Looks lovely when you've finished though! I applied two coats of top coat to smooth it out.
I also tried it out over Models Own Lime Green -
I think I might love it with green more than with pink!

Overall I'm quite happy with my first experience with indie polish. Now I just need to try and get myself the elusive Floam. I'm never on time. :(
