China Glaze New Bohemian Radiant Luster Chromes

There's always a new collection to look forward to from China Glaze. Actually this might very well be one of my favorite things when it comes to this brand : the New Bohemian must be the seventh collection released this year!

The six shades that constitute this collection are all metallic, duochromey shimmers. Some very duochrome and some barely so. Formula was on the sheer side and opacity built up in 2 to 3 coats with the exception of Deviantly Daring but I'll get back to that. Drying time was ultra fast and shine very good. I didn't apply topcoat in any of these swatches.

Swanky Silk. Rosey nude to gold duochrome. The color shifting effect is strong and this polish is a huge surprise for me : not at all the type of color I would go for but I love it on me! 2 coats here.

Rare & Radiant. Gold to green duochrome with a strong effect. Obviously a Chanel Peridot dupe with a China Glaze price tag and great formula. What's not to love? 2 coats here.

Unpredictable. Green to Blue duochrome. The color change is less pronounced on this one. I think that this might be very similar to Missha HGR01 and Kiko 396 ( Duo-Chrome Summer LE). 2 coats plus topcoat too.

Deviantly Daring. Pause... I love love love this polish! The duochrome is very subtle but the amazing formula and exceptional saturation totally make up for that in my eyes. It's a gorgeous and rich turquoise metallic shimmer with a one coat opacity. I used 2 coats here because I was afraid it wouldn't look perfect in picture but for real life, one coat would definitely have been enough for me.

Want My Bawdy. Dark blurple shimmer. I think I can see a tiny bit of duochrome in the bottle but on the nail it's nonexistant in my eyes.  Very close to OPI Into the Night from the Spiderman collection. This was the sheerest of the bunch and required 3 coats.

No Plain Jane. Warm purple to grey duochrome. In the bottle it looks Purple to green but on the nail you basically just see dusty edges. I used 2 coats here.

Overall :
Like I said I love duochromes but I can't help but think that half of the collection has already been done multiple times in the last year or so. Considering the China Glaze quality, wide distribution and retail price, I'm sure that a lot of customers will be happy with it anyway. As for the other half, I'm totally in love with it so you will not hear me complain ;-)

What do you think about this collection? Did you get any of them? Do you own Peridot or one of its multiple dupes? Or maybe more haha.
