Today I have one of the polishes from the new Lynnderella Sweet Somethings for a Summer Solstice Collection. This is I Don't Mean Rhinestones.
For this mani I layered two wiped coats of I Don't Mean Rhinestones over Lilacquer The Diva Plavalaguna. The first time I wear a Lynnderella polish I love to find the perfect matchy-matchy undies. The Diva Plavalaguna was exactly that, and I particularly loved that it had that slight duo chrome beneath the glitter.
I Don't Mean Rhinestones is really a stunning polish. Pictures really don't do this one justice. I was completely amazed at how much better this polish is in real life, I really was not expecting it to be the first one from this collection for me to wear. Sorry my photos look really one dimensional because this polish is just stunning.
There are regular teal squares in multiple sizes, but it's the holographic turquoise glitter in both hexes and diamonds that is so stunning. The teal holo glitter is unlike regular holo glitter in that you don't seem to get the full rainbow spectrum. Rather you get a rainbow of blueish hues, from yellows through greens and blues. The colour is similar to Lynnderella Thank Blue, but this is darker and the holo teal glitter makes this pop. Actually which is darker, is it teal or turquoise? I think teal is. So this one is definitely teal and Thank Blue would be turquoise. I've updated my colour guide to the left if you want to compare the two polishes.
Application was very easy and smooth, the polish was not thick and the glitters didn't clump together. I applied two layers of top coat, Ulta 3 non-chip and Seche Vite and my nails were glassy and smooth.
