Hi girls!
So today I have a very exciting post. Picture heavy and very little talking but with a nail art that I LOVED creating and wearing!
So lets's get started with the regular review first.
The Ozotic 700 series consists if 7 metallic duochromes : 730, 737, 743 to 746 and finally 752.
I used one coat of each over black in the swatches below and most of them were sheer so I'd recommend layering them as well, apart from 752 that is, which I believe is buildable to full opacity. They also all went on evenly with minimum brushstrokes but did required careful application.
Ozotic 730 is a magenta to gold duochrome in a magenta base with a strong color shift. It reminds me a little bit of the long discontinued Versace Heat V2033 (link) only darker maybe. This one's the strongest duochrome of the series, so pretty!
Ozotic 737 is a mauve to gold duochrome in a milky base with a medium color shift and coarse particles. I really love the muted almost dusty touch on this one!
Ozotic 743 is a turquoise shimmer. I can't really see any duochrome in this one but it's a gorgeous turquoise anyway, totally worth getting!
Ozotic 744 is a periwinkle to purple duochrome in a periwinkle base with a faint color shift. It's one of my favorites, I love everything about it, the base color, the duochrome, everything.
Ozotic 745 is gold to green duochrome in a pink base with a faint color shift. I love the pink base color here but it's lost on the black base, I think it might make a beautiful layering over pink, it doesn't do much for me here but in the nailart it rocks!
Ozotic 746 is a blue to purple duochrome in a pink base with a medium color shift. I'm not sure this one's the most original of the series but it's nice anyway.
Ozotic 752 is a greyed out purple to green duochrome in a dusty purple base with a medium color shift. I also love this one for the dusty base, what can I say?
And now... The Abstract nail art!
To create this look, I started with one coat of black (A England Camelot being my go-to one coater black) and then used a fan nail art brush to gently apply strokes of polish. To do so, I simply poured one drop of each polish over a sheet of paper and dipped my fan brush into them to transfer the polish onto my nails, it couldn't be easier!
Well I hope you liked this (loooong) post! Thank you so much for looking girls!
